Welcome to Rogers Teach

Welcome to my personal website! My name is Mr. Rogers and I am an elementary school teacher with a passion for helping young learners grow and thrive. I have been learning to teach for 5  years and have had the privilege of working with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying abilities.

In my future classroom, I’ll strive to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported. I believe in the power of hands-on learning and encourage my students to explore, experiment, and discover through engaging activities and projects.

On this website, you will find information about my teaching philosophy, classroom activities, and resources for parents and students. I hope that this website will serve as a valuable resource for my students and their families as we work together to support their growth and development.

Our Environment

A positive elementary school classroom environment is one where students feel safe and supported. The teacher creates a warm atmosphere and shows interest in their students’ lives. Clear expectations for behavior are set and the physical space is well-organized and visually appealing. Student work is displayed to celebrate achievements. Collaboration is encouraged and the teacher fosters a sense of community. Students have opportunities to take on leadership roles. In such an environment, students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Learn By Doing

The “learn by doing” philosophy in an elementary school classroom emphasizes hands-on, experiential learning. Students are encouraged to actively participate in their education through exploration, experimentation, and discovery. This approach allows students to engage with the material in a meaningful way and to make connections between their learning and the world around them. The teacher acts as a facilitator, guiding students as they explore and discover. This approach fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. By learning through doing, students gain a deeper understanding of the material and are more likely to retain the information.

Our News & Announcements

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are excited to announce that our school will be holding a recycling fundraiser to support our save the planet campaign! This is a great opportunity for our students to learn about the importance of recycling and to make a positive impact on the environment while raising funds for a worthy cause.

From April 2023 to April 2024 , we will be collecting recyclable items such as aluminum cans, plastic bottles, and paper products. These items can be dropped off at the designated collection area at the school during regular school hours.

All proceeds from the recycling fundraiser will go towards supporting our save the planet campaign. We encourage all families to participate by bringing in their recyclable items and helping us reach our fundraising goal.

Thank you for your support and for helping us make a difference in our community and the environment!

Sincerely, Amazing Elementary
